Welcome to the Abba’s Heart eBeat, the monthly eNews from Abba’s Heart Ministries.   Read on to be informed and inspired about what God is doing.

Revival Center Highlights:

God is at Work Around Us:  "My husband died six years ago and my son lives overseas.  I'm afraid my daughter is a hopeless drug addict, mainly due to my choices earlier.  I have such guilt and fear, I am so lonely and six months ago I was going to the liquor store and somebody was parking their car to come into church and came and got me and stopped me from going in and told me that I would "get a better drink in there."  They pointed to the Revival Center and I followed them in.  I cannot tell you the outrageous love that was showered upon me.  I thought they were thinking I was someone else, maybe someone famous.  I kept looking around for who they were really greeting, but it was me!  That night Jesus came into my heart and He has never left.  I mean He REALLY came into my heart.  I haven't had a drink since and my loneliness is gone.  I believe through the power of prayer that the Lord will bring my daughter home to me and keep my son safe.  I have hope I never had before and a family that I surely never deserved.  Everyone in my life recognizes how different I am and I tell them it's because I found Jesus."

We are looking forward to moving into our new building at 2221 Villa in Clovis this summer.  We are working out all the details now.  If you would like to bless the Revival Center ministry, there is a building fund set up on our website.  Go to GET BLESSED.

The Prayer of Moses

It’s not just a hopeful estimate this time, it’s a FACT!  After 18 months of delays, The Prayer of Moses, the second book in the Honest to God series by Sandra Querin, is GETTING PRINTED!!  We expect to see the actual books in March, and these are Sandi’s exact words:  “Tell them that I said so this time, not the publisher or the printer!”

 The Chocolate Game
Here’s a game that’s fun for the whole family, or a group of friends!

The object is to eat as much chocolate as you can. Players form a circle around a hunk of chocolate, a knife, fork, woolly hat, gloves and scarf and begin rolling a pair of dice. The first person to roll a six rushes into the center, dons hat, gloves and scarf and starts cutting (and then eating) the chocolate until someone else rolls a six. Game’s over when the chocolate’s gone.  (If your New Year’s Resolutions don’t allow chocolate, you can use an acceptable substitute!)

Note from Sandi

I cannot take 2 Corinthians 4 out of my heart, not even for a minute to impart a different truth to you, nor can I spend words of my own, that fade and falter, instead of the words of life shouting there faithfully and flawlessly.  So, I leave you with this chapter and hope that it will minister the peace of God that is found in His loving Power as He perfects His plans for you.  I pray for you as these words encounter your heart.

2 Corinthians 4
Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.

It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Donny Update…

Donny's Leukemia is still in remission but we continue to "endure the cure" and expect that things will be "back to normal" for Donny in March.  It has been one of the most wonderful processes that I can imagine... knowing the love of Jesus through such trial.  How good it is to abide with Him, and yet somehow go to a deeper place and run into Him in times of trouble; how powerful it is to see your children do the same.  We are forever grateful for the opportunity to walk with the Lord through these times and count it a privilege to see His hand upon everyone involved.  Thank you for your prayers, we have felt them and known them as they come from the heart of God nestled deep within you.  Martin and I are so grateful to a Savior who never leaves and walks the path of His choice with us and we are also grateful for you who have called this trial your own with many fastings and prayers.

Well, the wedding was two weeks ago and what a fabulous time we had.  There are some candid pictures on the website and the professional shots should be online in a couple weeks for you to view.  Donny had to have a blood transfusion the morning of his wedding, if you can believe that!  Everyone pulled together to make the wedding such an elegant event.  I still stand amazed at the love and labor of friends and family who are willing to suffer to make something happen for someone else.   Donny and Amy are back from their honeymoon and happy as little birds in their love nest condo down the street.  We are full of joy as we see the love and power of God emerge in their lives.  Thanks, thanks a lot.
