According to Exodus 14 and 15 here are the rules for a successful advance against the enemy in our lives:
1. Stop Crying about it.
2. Give God honor and know that He is a God of War and can handle it.
3. Know that God will Protect YOU.
4. Obey the Lord (according to John 15, if we love Him, we will obey Him.)
5. Don’t be afraid.
6. Be willing to drown the Egyptians in your life. (The wrong and bad stuff.)
Hope it helps and you are able to go forward in Christ this week making strong declarations and taking much ground for the Lord. Behave blessed because you are!

Donny continues to gain strength after a rough and scary few days last week. Check his progress here:

The donation link was set to roll off after a year, since we didn’t anticipate needing it this long! It is back on again, if you would like to help with expenses related to Donny’s rehabilitation. There are daily expenses outside of full insurance coverage such as oxygen, rehabilitation supplies and medications. You have been a big help with keeping the hospital and ambulance co-pays down and we thank you for that.

A couple who lived most of their wedded life in Hugo, Minnesota, marked their 83rd wedding anniversary February 17, 2008. Clarence Vail, 101, and Mayme, 99, hold a place in the 2009 Guinness Book of World Records for their achievement. “You have to have patience,” says Mayme, “to be married to the same person for over eight decades." They have six children, 39 grandchildren, 101 great-grandchildren, and 43 great-great-grandchildren. Clarence died on June 14, 2008.
Human love is wonderful, and worth rejoicing and celebrating. We often count the days of its existence. How much more is the love of God. God has never left your side, and never will.
Today is a day to be in an awareness of God's steadfast love and care.

Spiritual Body Builders
We are currently studying Zechariah 6-10. The first Monday in June, start reading Zechariah 11-14 and Malachi 1. If you would like to be a Spiritual Body Builder, contact our office for a brochure with instructions, or download it by going to the link below. Recordings of many of the discussions are available in the Audio/Video Media System. The Body Builder scriptures are the basis for the Wednesday Night Bible Study as well. Sandi has been able to resume teaching on Wednesdays now that Donny is home.

The home page video at www.abbasheart.com may have been replaced by a blue button when you visit. Clicking on it will give you the opportunity to upgrade to high definition. You will only need to do this once per computer.

Anniversary Celebration
Someone has gifted Martin and Sandi with a trip to Hawaii for ten days in July. Donny was so ill on their 30th Wedding Anniversary last November that they did not go anywhere to celebrate. But, since he is doing better now, they are going to take the trip as their Anniversary celebration. They need airfare and money for meals and incidentals. If you are interested in contributing, you know what to do!
King Camp
The men’s retreat was May 22-24, and we ended up with 40 men in attendance. The speaker was changed to Paul Cooley and Rev. Sandi Querin for another life-changing retreat. King Camp shirts, hats, and other useful items are available online!

We will return to the Tenaya Lodge and the cost will be $395.00 per person. We recommend that you pay your $50.00 deposit now (If you haven’t already) and begin making payments of $90.00 each month starting in June. Young People will Minister in Mexico
The Mexico Team of five is joining forces with Teen Mania in Tecate, Mexico in July. The team will be building homes, doing street outreach, Vacation Bible School, and teen discipleship. It will be amazing, glorious, and wonderful! Prayerfully consider going next year!
Missions Team Heading for South Africa
The team of five leaves for South Africa on the 14th of June. They are partnering with Impact Africa to do outreach in the squatter camps of Johannesburg. Kathleen, a member of the team, says, “It is our great privilege to share Jesus with this greatly impoverished people. We are filled with great joy and anticipation for what God is going to do. Thank you so much for your prayer and support.”

Camp Lazarus
A group of 18 teenagers from the Revival Center, plus four adult leaders, are heading to the mountains for a couple of days of camping in tents and studying the Word of God. June 14-16. Contact Naomi Kent if your teen is interested. Registration is full, but you can be on a waiting list in case a spot opens up.
S.H.A.R.E.S. Cards
We have S.H.A.R.E.S. Cards which you can use at participating stores, including Save Mart, Lucky, Food Maxx, and Smart Foods. When your card is swiped at checkout, three percent of the total of your purchase is given to the ministry. We are currently using the money for the South Africa team. Reply to this email and ask for one!
Abba’s HeartBeat
You weren’t cut from the mailing list! We haven’t sent out the HeartBeat for awhile. With Sandi’s current schedule caring for Donny, it’s one of those things that can wait. We are glad to hear from those who miss it, and the day will come when it resumes!
Queen Camp 2008 CD’s
Speaking of things that get set aside, the Queen Camp recordings got buried during the weeks following the retreat when Donny was in critical condition. They have been rescued and are nearly ready for duplication. If you ordered them, they are coming, if you didn’t, they will soon be available at the Revival Center and in our online store for $10.00. First Listen members will get them as their May selection, though it might not arrive until June!
