Just Too Risky
A man and his ever-nagging wife went on vacation to Jerusalem. While they were there, the wife passed away. The undertaker told the husband, "You can have her shipped home for $5,000.00, or you can bury her here, in the Holy Land, for $150.00"
The man thought about it and told him he would just have her shipped home.
The undertaker asked, "Why would you spend $5,000.00 to ship your wife home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here and you would spend only $150.00?"
The man replied, "Long ago a man died here, was buried here, and three days later he rose from the dead. I just can't take that chance."

A note from Sand
On September 5th, there was no peace in the sickness that we were praying about with my son, Donny, who is 25 years old and he is never sick. So, we waited and waited and then felt to take him to the Dr. He was rushed to the hospital and we found out just a couple days ago that he has Leukemia. (type: ALL) The Lord deposited these words into my heart 2 hours before the Dr. came in to see us with the diagnosis.. “I’ve got him, don’t worry!” That was all I needed. We have had perfect peace ever since. I’ll write more about it in this quarter’s newsletter. I’m heading off to the hospital now. He will be there 3 more weeks. He will miss his sister’s wedding in 2 ½ weeks, but should be able to make his own in January! Rejoice with us, as God is doing a marvelous thing……… we can see it, even while standing on THIS SIDE of the Red Sea, before it parts. Much love to you. Sandi
