Pastor Appreciation Month
Since Sandi is spending a great deal of time at the hospital again, she hasn’t had a chance to write a note this month. Please keep her in your prayers as she has very little “down time” these days between caring for her son and the ministry. She reminds us of Paul when he said in Philippians 2:17, “But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.” In October we are reminded to take a moment to show our appreciation to those who are in ministry and this would be a great excuse to send some encouragement her way.

Spiritual Body Builders
We are currently studying Romans 11-15. The first Monday in November, start reading Romans 16 and Psalm 24-27. If you would like to be a Spiritual Body Builder, contact our office for a brochure with instructions, or download it by going to the link below. Recordings of many of the discussions are available in the Audio/Video Media System. The Body Builder scriptures are the basis for the Wednesday Night Bible Study, which is taught by Rev. Sandi Querin.

Queen Camp! November 13-15, 2009
Less than a month until we go to the Tenaya Lodge for Queen Camp! It is “crunch month” in the office as preparations are in full swing!
Registration should be closed, but we have had several last-minute cancellations and we want to get those rooms filled! If you are still wondering if you can come, the answer is YES! Please register right away!
The cost is $395.00 per person, due as soon as possible.
We are anticipating a very special time this year at the beautiful Tenaya Lodge. It is such a blessing to worship the Creator in the midst of all the natural wonder of that area. As always, the retreat will be filled with worship, life-changing messages from God’s Word, powerful prayer times, fun, great food, plentiful chocolate, and amazing interaction with godly women. As it gets closer, we start thinking about spending a Saturday afternoon in a cozy fireplace area, getting pampered in the spa, riding horses, hiking, soaking in the jacuzzi, or enjoying a long, snoozy nap. We wonder who will be the Queen for a Day and get all the great benefits that go with that. For those building a library of Christian resources, we have some inspiring new books for sale this year, as well as your favorites. The instructions for preparing our hearts for the retreat will be mailed soon. There are some spots open and you know you want one of them!

Monday Flex Classes
The current Monday Flex Classes are God’s Stewards and Covenant Class at 7:00 pm. Both classes meet for twelve weeks. God’s Stewards is for 9-12-year-olds and Covenant is for singles age 13 and older.
