Note from Sandi

Thanksgiving is over and I am hoping you had a good time.  Sometimes the stress of the whole event can suck the fun out of it.  I hope that didn't happen to you!   May we spend our time, long after Thanksgiving Day, not only being Thankful for God's abundance in our lives and the people He has placed there, but for Him.  Thank God for every little thing, beautiful and ugly.  Thank God for what He has done, whether it seems good or bad.  Thank God for one another as Paul said, "without ceasing in prayer and upon every remembrance." Thank God that He loves us, Thank God for God and Thank God for Calvary and our Savior Jesus who was willing walk it.

If a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
Take naps.
Stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
Be always grateful for each new day.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
 Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
Be loyal.
