Note from Sandi
As the fog rolls in and the heat turns cold, I look at all the changes this year brought and all the change it promises yet to bring. Change is good. It is necessary for new growth, but sometimes scary. As we learn to lean on Jesus, the fear gives way to excitement and anticipation as we wait for Him to produce His fruit in our lives for His glory! I am praying for you that His Fruit and Glory are manifested in your life with speed. Take heart and be encouraged; the Lord doesn’t waste anything, especially the trials of your life ... He turns them into a mirror so we can see if we are a reflection of Him! Are we there yet?
Psalm 31:1-3
“In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defense to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.”
Donny Update
His growth, success and progress are very slow but nonetheless sure! It is like watching a baby grow or a flower bloom. You know it’s happening, you trust it is, but you can’t readily nor tangibly see it. Sometimes when I look at him, I weep just to think of the fact that THESE are the “glory days,” THESE are the “good ol’ days”; we don’t have to look any further. Where God sends us, He equips us to go and never leaves or forsakes us. Donny has become “lionhearted” in his quest for the greatness of God in this and we are all so proud of him.

Proclamation of Thanksgiving Washington, D.C. * October 3, 1863 By the President of the United States of America A Proclamation
The year that is drawing towards its close, has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so extraordinary a nature that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever watchful providence of Almighty God. In the midst of a civil war of unequaled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to foreign States to invite and to provoke their aggression, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere except in the theatre of military conflict; while that theatre has been greatly contracted by the advancing armies and navies of the Union. Needful diversions of wealth and of strength from the fields of peaceful industry to the national defense have not arrested the plough, the shuttle or the ship; the axe has enlarged the borders of our settlements, and the mines, as well of iron and coal as of the precious metals, have yielded even more abundantly than heretofore. Population has steadily increased, notwithstanding the waste that has been made in the camp, the siege and the battle-field; and the country, rejoicing in the consciousness of augmented strength and vigor, is permitted to expect continuance of years with large increase of freedom. No human counsel hath devised nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God, who, while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy. It has seemed to me fit and proper that they should be solemnly, reverently and gratefully acknowledged as with one heart and one voice by the whole American People. I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens. And I recommend to them that while offering up the ascriptions justly due to Him for such singular deliverances and blessings, they do also, with humble penitence for our national perverseness and disobedience, commend to His tender care all those who have become widows, orphans, mourners or sufferers in the lamentable civil strife in which we are unavoidably engaged, and fervently implore the interposition of the Almighty Hand to heal the wounds of the nation and to restore it as soon as may be consistent with the Divine purposes to the full enjoyment of peace, harmony, tranquility and Union.
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the United States to be affixed.
Done at the City of Washington, this Third day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, and of the Independence of the Unites States the Eighty-eighth.

New Building Update
We are hard at work on the construction of the new Revival Center. We continue to need your help prayerfully and financially. We have the opportunity to finish the work ourselves, which means a huge savings and lots of work, but requires about $350,000 more. The title has been transferred and the building is ours… Now we need to finish it and get in! We are down there on most Saturdays (fewer in December), but if you’d like to help, give the office a call. 897-9575. The guys are usually there from 8-3 and the ladies provide lunch.

Queen Camp 2008
Our mascot was a hippo named Alice, and our theme was “The Ways of God.” Testimonies by Mechelle Murillo and Hope Beard, as well as biblical teaching from the book of Job by Rev. Sandi Querin were a powerful combination. From the hippo we learned that God will stop at nothing to protect his people. In worship the ladies felt the presence of God and tears flowed freely. The weather was perfect, the chocolate was abundant, and the Tenaya Lodge was again a fitting setting for Queens to train. The testimonies on Sunday morning confirmed that God had been busy over the weekend in the lives of each of the ladies who came! Congratulations to Hope Beard, our new Soft Sister! Queen for the Day Naomi Kent graciously received the many blessings that go with that honor and still served as the photographer for the retreat. You can go online to enjoy the photos!
