BUILDING UPDATE

    Well, the time has come... we have a week to come up with the cash to close Escrow on the new 1.1 million dollar property in Clovis, just two blocks from the old bank location that the Revival Center now occupies.  We all understand that $23,000 is nothing compared to a million bucks, but it's still something.  Something we need your help with!  It happened so fast and the amount was larger than we knew ... $2,000 has come in; so, we need another $21,000 by Friday, August 7th.  The loan is secured and we are simply waiting to close escrow.  We will be in the new building on Villa Avenue in Clovis by Thanksgiving.   Can you help?  Ask the Lord what it is that you should do and as you are obedient to that, abundance in all things will naturally and supernaturally come your way.  We have gloriously learned that abundance comes from obedience.  Take the time to hear our Lord today would you?  As always, you may go online to give what the Lord is telling you to, or you can mail it in.  Make a note that it is for the Building Fund.  Thanks a ton for all the prayers and help.

Every Blessing to you in the name of our Lord Jesus!  The Word of God is a standard and a help.  I am amazed at how amazing the truth of scripture is and how relevant it is to every single situation in our lives; I pray we are continually and forever amazed!  The work of God continues to grow as the Lord embarks upon the journey of His own Delight.  It is straight truth:  "Seek first the Kingdom of God and all the things you need will be added unto you!"  Give us souls, Lord, that your Kingdom will enlarge, increase and prevail against the works of darkness, here in this place where we dwell; give us souls! 

    My dear friend Heidi was in an auto accident last week.  Heidi was beat up pretty bad, but is doing a bit better now.  Her precious daughter, Hannah, was taken from us.  She is a citizen of heaven now and we will remember her at a ceremony this week.  Please remember the friends and family.  We yield to God, but this is a hard one.

    I just came home a couple days ago from a meeting in Corona, CA. (Down south by San Diego.)  Please pray that the work of the Lord continues to stay strong there and abound.  I have cancelled all my 2008 engagements except for Clovis and Corona, in order to be with my son, Donny.  So, this work is very close to my heart, knowing that God hand selected it and asked me to stretch myself as never before to help plow ground for the Kingdom with them. I ask for your prayers for this precious church down south where the Lord has a cause and a plan at work.

    May this Psalm encourage and bring life to you today...  I have been reading this several times a day and also reciting it to Donny while he is in the hospital.  The "Donny Update" is online at www.abbasheart.com/donnyupdate2.asp  and I need you to continue to pray.  It appears he now has Graft vs. Host disease and I explain a bit about that on the site.

Queen Camp Visit www.queencamp.info to register for this year’s retreat!  We will make a decision on September 1 whether to close registration and enjoy the smaller meeting room, or to push on for 180 ladies, which is what we must pay for to get the larger one.  In other words, if you are planning to go, you need to register now.   It will be at the same location at the Tenaya Lodge near Yosemite, California.  November 14-16, 2008.
