Ever wonder how absolutely cool and amazing Jesus really is? He washed the feet of Judas BEFORE he was betrayed and AFTER he KNEW He would be betrayed by this friend. This is telling us that:
1) It’s not about the “foot washing,” it’s about the attitude of surrender to the Lord we must have in allowing Him to do whatever He sees fit (willingness vs. obedience) and,
2) We have a stellar example of forgiveness in the midst of deep pain, take it and use it…… don’t forgive when it hurts…… forgive ESPECIALLY when it hurts.

Donny Update
Exciting news in the midst of this storm… Check the Update online for more information. Here’s the short version:
Donny has been getting worse and worse over the last couple weeks. In prayer yesterday it occurred to me that we should contact our family doctor, the one who originally diagnosed Donny with Leukemia and then from there we went on our journey of cancer specialists and bone marrow transplant doctors with all of our adventures to a variety of hospitals and doctors who have tried so desperately to help. So, today our family doctor, who is a Christian man and lives a mile away, came to the house and spent an hour with us. He came up with some exciting news and alarming news.
We will know in a couple days if the sores on his fingertips from the “nuclear medicine” they had to give him in the hospital is staph infection, viral or bacterial. He noticed a couple warts forming as well, which he will take off. What the heck? Then there are his lovely lungs … More online… gotta go.

Stories of Glory
“The man came in and said he had been a year before. He was homeless and his name was Donny! Killing me here. He received Jesus as his Savior last year and I haven’t seen him since. Well, he came in a week ago for prayer and said he had cancer. There was a tumor growing out of his stomach. He said the doctor drained it and it keeps refilling and there is nothing they can do. He said he would die. I told him, “Not with a name like that you won’t!” I smiled and he cried. The tumor dissolved in my hand… what a privilege to see people run to Jesus in their darkest hours and know that somehow, someway, He will meet them.”
“My car didn’t really need any gas. But there was that gas station…, calling me to come see it. At the pump, I noticed my “neighbor”… you know, the person sharing the other side of the pump with you. She was older… which I guess the older I get, the younger that is. Anyway, she was around 70 or so and I looked at her and smiled and asked her if she was having a good day. She started to cry. Really cry. (“How much money do I have for this gas? Should I watch the pump?” I’m wondering… “Nah, let it go.”) So, I crossed the little concrete fence that separated us and hugged her and told her that Jesus told me to come to tell her that He loved her. He absolutely really loved her and has never forgotten about her. Her husband and daughter had been in an auto accident and both died a couple of months before. This was her first outing. She was alone on the way to visit her sisters. It became too much for her and then there is Jesus… telling people to go to the gas station to hug on folks. What a friend we have in Jesus. We stood there for a long time under the Union 76 ball and praised the Lord together!
Spiritual Body Builders
We are currently studying John 11-15. The first Monday in March, start reading John 16-20. If you would like to be a Spiritual Body Builder, contact our office for a brochure with instructions, or download it by going to the link below. Recordings of many of the discussions are available in the Audio/Video Media System. The Body Builder scriptures are the basis for the Wednesday Night Bible Study, which is taught by Rev. Sandi Querin.

King Camp
This year’s Men’s Retreat will be May 28-30, 2010. The speaker will be Donny Querin. Registration is open! The cost is $195.00 per person and a $50 deposit will hold your spot. Full payment is due by April 28.

Queen Camp!
Queen Camp 2009 was amazing! We have opened registration for 2010. The cost is $395.00 per person, and a non-refundable $50 deposit will hold your spot.
We are anticipating a very special time again at the beautiful Tenaya Lodge. It is such a blessing to worship the Creator in the midst of all the natural wonder of that area. As always, the retreat will be filled with worship, life-changing messages from God’s Word, powerful prayer times, fun, great food, plentiful chocolate, and amazing interaction with godly women. Spend Saturday afternoon in a cozy fireplace area, getting pampered in the spa, riding horses, hiking, soaking in the jacuzzi, or enjoying a long, snoozy nap. Maybe you will be the Queen for a Day and get all the great benefits that go with that. For those building a library of Christian resources, we will have some inspiring books for sale, as well as your favorites.
