A testimony from 2009:

          “I was a guest this weekend at Queen Camp and I just want you to know that this weekend was for me.  The Lord planned it and fashioned it and spoke just for me.  That's how it feels.  I know differently, but it's wonderful how He does that, huh?  First of all, He took me back to my roots.  He reminded me that there is more than what is right in front of my face.  And He healed and restored hope. 

          What is cool is that I didn't come home with that mountaintop, high kind of feeling.  You know - the kind of feeling that you know you are going to crash soon because you have to come down.  No, I feel that God did some deep foundation adjustments.  When I got home my whole family was there and  they asked me if I had fun.  I told them, “Yes I had fun, but this was different.  This was different than any other retreat I have gone to.  These ladies don't mess around.  They get down to business with God.  There weren't any skits or games.  It was just serious business with God."  I appreciate that very much.

          Since being home I have had a much needed, meaningful talk with my husband.  Well, while I was gone, it seems that God was doing business with my husband too.  Go figure!  I shared with my daughter, who does not walk in a relationship with the Lord and she said she is ready to believe after hearing some of the things that happened at Queen Camp!

 

          I am excited again about today and the future.  I had been afraid to hope and to pray but today I believe He is at work and I am expectant. Thank you so very much.”
