Chili Relleno
1 32 oz can whole Ortega green chilis
1 lb Jack Cheese
1 lb Cheddar Cheese (grated)
1 16 oz can Marinara Sauce
* Sauce:
4 Eggs beaten
1/3 Cup Milk
½ Teaspoon Baking Powder
½ Cup Flour
Begin:
Rinse Chilis, removing seeds (try to keep them whole).
Slice Jack cheese to about the size of 2 pencils side by side. Lightly butter baking dish (9xll) and wrap chili around jack cheese, lay in baking dish.
Make sauce as above and pour over top. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Bake: 375 for 30 minutes. Pour Marinara sauce over top and Bake for another 20 minutes.
